But what are we really doing in Iraq and Afghanistan?.... that is a war where we have no friendlies no allies, nothing THEY HATE US .... totally!!
There is so much that is going on over there and very little that we know here, do we care? The people that has no one in the arm forces, do you care? To me I care a lot about it because, we are losing precious young women and men, that are the going or should be the pillars of our society and they are gone, and the one that we get back they are so royally screw up that they are committing murder, and mayhem in here in their land, they come back they don't have a job or might had one before they left but now they don't have one, we are not able to take care of them they got no benefits, some have no home, they are socially challenged to lead a normal life, like they did before they join and got deployed....
Are we able to do something for them?... I think we can but we as individuals don't have the resources needed to do something like that. I think that our military should prepare them better in the sense that they are going to see carnage they are going to see their friends (family) blown up to pieces, to see them get shot and to be in a sea of red blood.....
Our military just trains them to shoot, to cover their platoon, to convey over the radio, to follow orders, to put a mask in case of a gas attack, but are they train to deal with the horrors of war? No absolutely not, I think we should be building better killing machines that what we are building not weapons.... our soldiers they need to be better equip to deal with what they are going to see.... ambushes are a daily routine to this people, road side bombs, IEDs and they are so blindly dedicated like the KAMIKAZE pilots of Japan, and we are not prepared to deal with that, the way I see it I will shoot you before you shoot me, in war is you or me and I love me to be alive.....
Do we remember Vietnam we put all kinds of walls and memorials and more but our Vietnam Vets are dying and now we have a new wave the Vietnam Vets were not prepare to what they saw and lived, they kept them as slaves if capture but in this war they are killing them on spot, no POW only MIAs or kills, also in Vietnam the children and women had bombs strapped to themselves so they can take the caring soldier that tried to protect that child or woman and blow them all as many as they could, they had little children with rifles, to snipe our men, and guess what .... is the same thing in here also, but they took it a step above that if our men see a dead American soldier on the road, what do they do? Try to take the body so the loved ones can bury that soldier, right? But now those bodies are booby trap now they are connected to bombs ... so what to do, what to do? I will say take the tags and leave or detonate the body from afar and then take the pieces the tags and then leave (if there is anything left) sounds cruel but is the only way that more of our soldiers come back alive....
But then again we need to prepare them for the carnage, how come they can watch Rob Zombie movies and not get all freaked out? But see it in a screen is different than in person right? But we do need to get them to see all that and stay focus and stay mentally fit, so how? How about intense training of ...."You have to come back alive".... they are the enemy kill as many as you can men, women and children, don't care IS WAR.... the name of the game in war is take the land and submit the enemy or kill them ALL .....
Then we have the soldiers that are been prosecuted by the military because they follow orders of take them down, to take whatever is necessary for our posts and our advantage and in the mess of it all some civilians got killed .... oh well is WAR .... and they are called casualties of WAR. I know that no one that can do something about this trials, and I know that no one will ever read this blogs or maybe a couple or just me, so I guess is just a big nothing ..... but I wish we could do something for our arm forces personnel. something so they can have the knowledge that few get and if anyone of you ever seen "Home of the Brave" the movie is not to bad, but it made me angry for the soldiers in that movie are like in real life not prepare to act, to do, to follow, and when they came home they felt displayed like they didn't belong in here anymore, and one did something that made sense when he wrote a letter to his parents .... "I am going back to help them not to go through what I went through to teach them to stay alive and come back home to their families" .....
We need the strong to keep the others strong and we need the weak to get strong....
