When......I was covering the shift for someone in my crew at a gas station I used to managed, on 13 Mile and John R in Madison Heights, MI, a couple of my customers where there shooting the breeze with me telling me about their day's labor ...
When this car a late model sedan stopped at the pump, I looked out and authorized the sale ...this lady got out and stood in there looking confused, after a few minutes, she turn and started to walk to the store, she was this beautiful BLONDE, blue eye bomb shell, she looked so beautiful in her black dress, and heels ..... the guys stopped talking and stared at her in awe.... their mouths dropped open almost hitting the floor, when she open the store front door, she asked "Excuse me do you have unleaded gasoline, because my car only takes unleaded and your pump says NO LEAD".
I smile and told her yes, unleaded - no lead is the same, she then looked out and she said, "Yes it says unleaded in my car, so it only takes unleaded".....I tried explaining to her that NO LEAD and UNLEADED is the same thing .....to this she smile and looked at me.... "Right so you don't have unleaded gasoline, because your pump just says No lead"
The guys ran to the back of the store and died laughing, I tried very hard not to laugh and told her with a broad smile, "Oh well if you get on your car and take 13 mile to Dequindre there is a gas station in the corner that has unleaded gasoline" she thank me, got in her car and left happily to the next gas station in search of unleaded gasoline .....
